Download Zea Sync

Download and log in to Zea Sync.

Overview

After

creating your Workspace⁠

, the next step is to sync your 3D CAD files. To do that you will use the Zea Sync desktop app.

Download Zea Sync

Download Zea Sync from the help menu or

https://app.zea.live/download⁠

⁠

Choose which installation to use and download:

.ZIP for Windows - Ideal for environments where you do not have administrative rights.

.MSI for Windows - A standard installation process that requires administrative rights.

Prerequisites

Zea Sync requires a Windows computer.

You need an account on the Zea platform, along with an active Organization and Workspace.

If you don't have an account, sign up at

https://app.zea.live/sign-in⁠

For Zea Sync to read your organization's 3D files, the user profile must have access to the file location (this may be controlled by your company's IT admin).

Note that ‘Sign in with Google/Microsoft’ is not available on Zea Sync. If you created your account using these methods, please use ‘Passwordless Access' with your Google or Microsoft email to receive your login link.

.ZIP for Windows - Extract and Run

After downloading, extract the zipped Zea Sync folder.

Double click the zea-sync application file to run Zea Sync.

Note: If Windows displays an ‘unknown publisher’ warning, it's safe to run the application.

Check your email and click the link in the email.

On the Zea Platform, click the "Authorize" sign-in button.

Once authorized, return to the Zea Sync desktop app to start using it.

.MSI for Windows - Standard Installation

To install Zea Sync via the .MSI file , you will need administrative rights on the computer.

After downloading, launch the Zea Sync installer from your browser or downloads folder.

Note: If Windows displays an ‘unknown publisher’ warning, it's safe to run the installer.

We recommend installing Zea Sync in the default location suggested during the installation.

Check your email and click the link in the email.

On the Zea Platform, click the "Authorize" sign-in button.

Once authorized, return to the Zea Sync desktop app to start using it.
