Overview

Use option tags to control the visibility of optional parts and subassemblies when loading a 3D model. This is useful for managing product configurations and variants.
Before assigning option tags in Zea Parts, you must first . Once tags are applied in a model, they can be linked to serial numbers in Zea Parts. When a catalog entry is opened with that serial number, only matching optional components are displayed.
In the future, option tags will allow users to predefine configurations in the Parts Catalog. For example, one serial number might include a standard part, while another references an upgraded component. This enables support for product variants, upgrade kits, or region-specific builds — specific to a given serial number.
